Какой кулер взять на i7 11700kf

Выбор кулера к i7 11700KF.

Здравствуйте. Посоветуйте процессору i7 11700KF хорошую башню. Сейчас стоит DeepCool REDHAT. Разгон только автобуст. Но температура в играх до 85 доходит. Материнская плата MSI Tomahawk WIFI z590. Оперативная память Crucial Ballistix Sport LT BLS16G4D30AESB DDR4 — 16ГБ. Корпус Zalman Z3 Plus. Можно еще по поводу корпуса подскать, на какой можно заменить свой залман. Спасибо.

Два корпуса на рассмотрение, выбрать можно под себя, взял самый дешевый с оргстеклом и подороже в хорошем наличии

Такой уже с кулерами, но смущает что они не напорные и скорее всего шумные, зато цена не кусается:

Суть в том чтобы собраться в подобном корпусе (важно чтобы фронт панель была продуваемой-сетчатой) в виде такой конструкции:

— Фронтальный верхний вент-р 140 мм от Арктика P14 / BioniX, с хорошим напором, нагнетает воздух прямо в створ проц-кулера, а проц-кулер прогоняет своей парой вент-ров этот свежий поток сразу на выход к тыловому. Тыловой тоже 140 мм на выбор в пределах 1500 об/мин. Все корпусные садятся ещё в пустом корпусе на силиконовые гвозди.

Для видеокарты на фронт корпуса свои один-два вентилятора, в идеале такие же Арктики P12 / P14 / BioniX на гвозди.

Тогда охлад проца кулером будет макс эффективный и достаточно тихий. Обязателен андервольт по напряжению и регулировка PLimit’ов проца — скинут прилично градусов.

Охлаждение i7-11700 или 11700k, какой кулер брать? до 5к, максимум 6к

Все пытаюсь выбрать, но не уверен, нужна помощь или мнение тех у кого есть или проц или кулера из списка, или похожие по х-кам. Спасибо.
-проц i7-11700 или 11700k, зависит от скидки. если возьму «к» то только турбо буст авто.
-Корпус Zalman Z3 Plus. На бумаге кулер можно только до 160 мм.
стандартные куллера, возможно добавлю еще один.
-Мать MSI Z590-A PRO
-Опер.памаять щас низкая 34.1 мм, на замен будет 46 мм.

ВОДЯНКА не нужна и не встанет в КОРПУС)))
AMD не хочу и не надо предлагать).

Склоняюсь к be quiet! DARK ROCK 4, но не дешёвый. Сомнения в нужности переплаты.

Intel Core i7-11700KF Review — Almost as Fast as the 11900K

We have with us the Core i7-11700KF processor. When Intel debuted its 11th Gen Core «Rocket Lake» desktop processor lineup in March, much of the attention was grabbed by the Core i9-11900K and Core i5-11600K. It was only weeks later we caught up with the brilliantly priced Core i5-11400F, and we are now looking at the Core i7—a brand that represented the top-end from Intel until as recently as the Core i7-8700K. Intel introduced the Core i9 moniker to the mainstream-desktop segment to better tackle the AMD Ryzen 7 series.

Intel had until now differentiated the Core i7 and Core i9 parts using core/thread counts. The i7-9700K was an 8-core/8-thread processor, while the i9-9900K was 8-core/16-thread, and the i7-10700K was an 8-core/16-thread part, while the i9-10900K was 10-core/20-thread. With «Rocket Lake,» and its new higher-IPC «Cypress Cove» CPU cores being built on existing 14 nm process, Intel can no longer cram more than eight of the larger cores plus an iGPU into the LGA1200 package. The company hence settled on 8-core/16-thread for even its top i9-11900K part, hoping that the claimed 19% IPC gain would see the chip through. Here, the company hit the problem of how to carve out the Core i7 part. In the end, the company chose to keep the exact same core configuration as for the i9-11900K—8-core/16-thread.

What sets the Core i7-11700K and i7-11700KF apart from the i9-11900K/KF is a combination of slightly lower clock speeds and the lack of Thermal Velocity Boost and Adaptive Boost. While Thermal Velocity Boost is essentially an additional Turbo multiplier when thermals allow, Adaptive Boost was in our i9-11900K review noted to be an interesting feature that unlocks additional boost bins across all workload thread-counts, especially higher-threaded ones. The i7-11700KF is still unlocked, and you get the same overclocking capabilities as the Core i9. For the past couple of generations, Intel has released SKUs with the «F» brand extension in the retail channel, like the i7-11700KF we’re reviewing here. These chips come with disabled iGPUs, letting Intel utilize dies with faulty graphics cores and price them about $10–$20 lower. These make for a nice deal for gamers who rely on graphics cards. Technically, the iGPU is still part of the silicon die,and takes up space; it’s just sitting there, disabled permanently.

The 11th Gen Core processors debut the «Rocket Lake» microarchitecture. Although built on the same 14 nm silicon fabrication process, it innovates in four key areas. First, it packs up to eight «Cypress Cove» CPU cores. These are a back-port of «Sunny Cove» to the 14 nm node, and Intel claims they come with an IPC gain of up to 19%. Next up is the new Gen12 Xe LP integrated graphics available on non-F SKUs, which are claimed to be up to 50% faster than the previous Gen9.5 cores. The third key area is the I/O, with Intel introducing PCI-Express 4.0 support. In addition to a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 slot, these chips put out one processor-attached M.2 NVMe slot with the Gen 4 x4 interface. The DMI chipset bus has doubled in bandwidth when paired with Z590 or H570 chipsets, too. Lastly, as we’ll detail in the following pages, the processors introduce many new ways of overclocking.

The Core i7-11700KF then is an 8-core/16-thread processor that lacks integrated graphics, but features an unlocked multiplier. It otherwise has the same clock speeds as the i7-11700K, with 3.60 GHz base frequency and 5.00 GHz maximum Turbo. Each of the eight cores comes with 512 KB of dedicated L2 cache, and they share 16 MB of L3 cache. The lack of integrated graphics has Intel price the i7-11700KF about $25 lower than the i7-11700K. It’s also a staggering $140 cheaper than the i9-11900KF and $170 cheaper than the i9-11900K flagship. In this review, we figure out if you could potentially save yourself $170–$180 by opting for the i7-11700KF over the i9-11900K, a price-difference that makes your motherboard «free.»

As a PC enthusiast, I know firsthand how important it is to choose a suitable CPU cooler for your system. When I built my first PC, I encountered many challenges and struggled to find the best cooler to maintain optimal performance and protect my hardware from overheating.

Through my years of experience, I have learned that factors such as thermal dissipation, noise level, and size are crucial when selecting a suitable CPU cooler for the Intel Core i7-11700KF processor. I have researched, tested, and explored various types of coolers, from liquid to air coolers, to find the best fit for my system.

In this article, I will share my insights and experiences to help you make an informed decision. Thermal Requirements of the Core i7-11700KF CPU

A CPU cooler’s Thermal Design Power (TDP) rating refers to its ability to dissipate heat in watts. Selecting a CPU cooler with a TDP that matches or exceeds the peak TDP of the Core i7-11700KF is crucial for efficient heat management.

The Core i7-11700KF has a TDP range of 125–251 watts, depending on the workload. To maximize your CPU’s performance, you should use a cooler that can handle the peak TDP (PL2) of 251 watts. PL2 is an Intel processor’s short-term maximum power draw when the CPU runs at its maximum short-term speed (max turbo frequency). Intel CPU specifications list the base TDP (PL1) as «Processor Base Power» and the peak TDP (PL2) as «Maximum Turbo Power.»

While testing CPU coolers, I witnessed the importance of adequate cooling for achieving and maintaining maximum turbo speeds. If the CPU cooler fails to maintain an optimal temperature for the CPU, it may cause the CPU to slow down, a process known as throttling. In some cases, the cooler may operate continuously at full speed. Even if the CPU cooler has a lower TDP rating than the CPU, it can still function, but, as I’ve experienced, the CPU will eventually reduce its frequency to cool down.

Types of Coolers

Air Cooler

Air coolers utilize a combination of heatsinks and fans to dissipate heat. While they are the most budget-friendly option available, I’ve observed that they can sometimes produce a lot of noise, which may not be ideal for everyone. However, I can say that air coolers have been a reliable option for me over the years, despite that, and remain a popular choice for many PC enthusiasts.

Closed-Loop Cooler

A Closed-Loop Cooler, also known as an all-in-one (AIO) cooler, is a type of liquid cooler. Through testing and analyzing different cooling systems, we have concluded that the AIO coolers are our favorite option when designing a cool and quiet PC setup. I have found that pre-built liquid cooling systems offer a more straightforward setup and can provide better TDP performance at lower noise levels than air coolers. With that said, I have observed that the cooling performance and noise levels greatly depend on the radiator size and the number and size of the fans.

Open-Loop Cooler

We have tried open-loop cooler systems and observed that they offer more flexibility for building a customized cooling setup. However, setting them up can be more complicated than closed-loop coolers. Using open-loop coolers also meant dealing with maintenance, such as coolant flushing, which was a downside I experienced.

Despite this, we were able to take advantage of the additional cooling capabilities that these open-loop systems offer, allowing us to cool not just our CPU but also our graphics card’s GPU.

Mounting Brackets Compatible With the Core i7-11700KF

Ensure that your cooler includes a compatible mounting bracket for your CPU. CPU coolers come with various mounting brackets to accommodate multiple CPU socket sizes. For the Intel Core i7-11700KF CPU, you’ll need a CPU cooler that supports the LGA 1200 socket.

In cases where a new socket size is released, you can often purchase a separate mounting/ retention kit to fit the new dimensions.

Considerations When Choosing a Cooler for the 11700KF CPU

Noise

More fans usually result in better cooling but also increased noise. Larger fans are generally quieter than smaller fans since they can move the same amount of air at lower speeds. Fan noise levels are measured in dB, with lower values indicating quieter operation.

Configuring your motherboard’s BIOS to use specific fan speeds at particular temperatures allows for a near-silent computer while idle.

Size

Before investing in the largest cooler available, verify that your case and motherboard have enough room. Check for potential interference with other components on your motherboard, such as tall heat spreaders on memory modules (DIMMs).

Dual-fan air coolers often require substantial space on top of the motherboard. Liquid cooler radiators can also take up a lot of space but are mounted to dedicated fan locations on the front, top, sides, or bottom of the case.

Lighting

Some CPU coolers feature LED lighting on fans or liquid cooling pump heads. If you prefer being able to turn off the lights, ensure that your chosen cooler provides this functionality.

Price

Depending on your preferences, you can choose between a practical, low-cost solution and a more visually striking option. Air-based coolers are generally more affordable than liquid cooling systems.

Higher TDP support and advanced lighting features may also come at an additional cost.

Gaming

An air cooler may suffice for a gaming PC if you don’t plan to overclock your CPU. However, from my experience and testing, not all CPU air coolers can handle the same amount of heat. Examining coolers’ supported heat dissipation (TDP) in watts (e.g., 180 watts) is crucial for choosing which cooler to purchase.

Games and other CPU-intensive tasks can keep the Core i7-11700KF CPU at the higher end of its TDP range (251 watts). From my experience, it’s best to opt for a larger air-cooled heatsink with one to two fans or even consider a liquid cooler, which I’ve found to be generally quieter than air coolers and offer better cooling performance.

Overclocking

We’ve learned from our own experiences that if you plan to overclock your CPU, your success will depend on how effectively you can maintain adequate cooling. As we have learned, inadequate cooling can cause the CPU to throttle itself to a lower speed or even damage it. However, it can also result in system instability while gaming or working. System instability has led to frustrating instances where we’ve lost progress and encountered interruptions during gaming sessions.

You may achieve some level of overclocking with a good air cooler. However, if the cooler is struggling to keep the CPU cool enough, your fans will remain at their maximum speed, which could be a little noisy.

Liquid cooling can generally achieve better TDP levels compared to air cooling. Additionally, liquid cooling allows for a quieter system, depending on the radiator size, fan size, and the number of fans used.
